CLEANER WORKFLOW WITH project MANAGEMENT UPGRADE
A shared spreadsheet. A WhatsApp thread. An email chain nobody can find. Sound familiar?
A shared spreadsheet with a list of tasks. A WhatsApp thread with updates. An email chain that goes back four months and nobody can find the thing they need.
Sound like project management at your studio? You’re not alone. And now there’s a better way built right into the Nettl System.
Projects. Properly upgraded.
The Projects module has had a significant overhaul. It’s now a proper project management tool, designed for the way web studios actually work — building sites, managing client jobs, tracking tasks across a team.
How it works
Create a project in seconds. Hit Create, pick the client, give it a name. Add tasks one by one, just like typing in a document. No complicated setup, no forms to fill in. It saves as you go, so nothing gets lost.
Tasks that actually get used. Every task has a status, a priority, an assignee, a due date, and a notes field where you can log updates. Attach files, link to a website, leave comments. Everything related to a job lives in one place.
Taskboard view. See every open task across all your projects in a single Kanban board, sorted by priority and status. In progress, with the client, on hold — it’s all visible at a glance. Useful for keeping a team moving without chasing people.
Fast Paths. Don’t start from scratch on every project. Pull in a Fast Path and all the tasks populate automatically. There are thousands of them already built — WooCommerce builds, DNS swaps, membership directories, and more.
Primers. Create your own reusable project templates. Maybe your studio has a specific process for going live. A particular workflow for a discovery phase. A checklist you use every time you take on a new client. Build it once as a Primer, and pick it every time you start a similar project. Convert any existing project into a Primer with a single toggle. Individual tasks can be saved as Primers too, and added to any project with a couple of clicks.
Slash commands. Save frequently used responses as shortcuts. Type a slash inside any task update and pick from your saved snippets. Great for standard client messages you send repeatedly.
Bulk updates. Select multiple tasks and update their priority, status, or assignee in one go — without firing off a wave of notifications unless you want to.
The Geek Channel lives here too
The Geek Channel — where you raise support tickets with the Nettl team — is now part of the same Taskboard interface. Switch between your own project tasks and Geek Channel tickets without leaving the page.
Where to find it
